Meet Ruth
My name is Ruth Carter and I am an independent celebrant, dedicated to ensuring your ceremony is as beautiful and heartfelt as possible. My passion lies in creating occasions that truly reflect the emotions and significance of your special day. Alongside my role as a celebrant, I embrace many roles in my personal life—wife, mam, nanny, and caretaker to our beloved furry family members. I cherish spending quality time with my family, enjoy walks along the beach, and always look forward to meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I dedicated 25 years of my life to nursing within the NHS working with fabulous people and gaining invaluable experience. After leaving the NHS, my husband and I relocated to abroad, which marked the beginning of an exciting chapter in our lives. Since then, we have been fortunate enough to travel and live in various countries around the world. Each move has allowed us to immerse ourselves in diverse cultures and gather a wealth of experiences from every place we have called home.
I truly care about your story, every little detail is important, and I aim to ensure that every ceremony tells a story that is told with the delicacy and fragility that it deserves.
My aim is to weave your story into the heart of the ceremony, capturing its essence and significance so that it resonates with everyone present. I take great pride in crafting ceremonies that are not only highly personalised but also truly engaging. To me, a ceremony is never just a formality or a box to tick off on your special day. Instead, it should be interactive, captivating, and a source of joy and lasting memories for all involved.
